How to Install Google Chrome on your Windows VPS 

Installing Google Chrome on your Windows VPS is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to get started.

Connect to your Windows VPS

• If you need help connecting, refer to our article How to Connect to a Windows VPS.

Open your web browser

• Once connected to your VPS, open the default web browser (Microsoft Edge).

Download Google Chrome

• Go to the official Google Chrome download page: https://www.google.com/chrome/
• Click the “Download Chrome” button.

Install Google Chrome

• Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file (usually named ChromeSetup.exe).
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. This typically involves clicking “Next” a few times.

Launch Google Chrome

• Once the installation is complete, Google Chrome will launch automatically. If it doesn’t, you can open it from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
• If you prefer to use Google Chrome as your default browser, you can set it by clicking the “Set as default” button when prompted during the first launch or by going to Settings > Default apps in the Windows Settings.
